Edition of April 13, 2006

A canon ball start!

It’s a great start for the 11th edition of the Education Fair and the Training Career Fair with more than 200 spaces already reserved by the exhibitors.  And it’s only the beginning!   Don’t wait to reserve your booth.  Please, contact Marie Archambault at 450-464-7638 or by email at marchambault@ineo.ca.

Scholarships promotion :  goal of $ 50,000

Exhibitors are invited to participate in our new scholarship promotional program. This is a simple but effective promotion to reach the magic number of $50,000 in scholarships offered by the exhibitors participating in the 2006 edition. This scholarship program will be promoted through our advertising campaign. Visitors participate by registering directly at the exhibitors’ booths for a chance to win a scholarship with a minimum value of $500.  By taking part in this promotion, you’ll help attract thousands of additional visitors to the fair, you’ll increase activity at your booth and you’ll increase the size of your database.

The contest will be handled by each of the exhibitors at their respective booths and must be registered at the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.  You can click on the following link to access to the necessary forms :  http://www.racj.gouv.qc.ca/section.asp?lang=en&noSection=4&noGrappe=5

Don’t forget to inform us about your participation!

Posting yourself free of charge!

A posting zone, for consultation only by visitors, will be set up to allow exhibitors to post, free of charge, their programs and services (courses, training, traineeship, jobs, scholarships).  Another way to promote your activities.  Will you be on the board in 2006?  We will inform you about the procedures in the following months.

Your presence at the Documentation Centre

Display, free of charge, your brochures in our new Documentation Centre, exclusive to the exhibitors and accessible to all visitors. This opportunity is offered exclusively to exhibitors. This site will be set up to allow visitors to take a break and browse through all the literature available. It provides exhibitors with an opportunity to display their brochures outside of their booths.  Details will be available to you in the following months.

Stage for demonstration

We offer you the possibility to present dynamic animations during high school visits (Wednesday – Thursday) on a stage specially set-up at the Fair.  From 4 to 6 segments of 45 minutes each will be available.  You can reserve yours, at the cost of 200 $ for each presentation, by contacting us at 450-464-7638.  Hurry, availabilities are limited!

Info-Career Desk

The Info-Career Desk is back again!  This front-line academic and career service offers guidance counsellors for professional advice and helps visitors find the sectors they are interested in. The Info-Career Desk is divided into 8 major sectors.

New : Keynote conferences

The general public will be moved when listening to speakers share their passion and stories about their careers—and the importance of education—during the new Keynote conferences.  Speakers from the sectors featured at the Info-Career Desk will be invited to tell their stories, sharing their success and their passion for their trade or profession.

You can become the host of one of the major sectors of the Info-Career Desk AND one of the Keynote conferences.  By doing so, you will benefit from a double visibility in two of the prestigious activities of the Education Fair and the Training Career Fair.

Your colors on the visitor’s bag

Get valuable exposure by sponsoring The Education Fair and The Training Career Fair bags, which are given to all visitors at the main entrance of the exhibition hall.  These bags could advertise your institution or company! Spaces available and cost: $7,500 for one full side / $3,750 for one ½ side.  To reserve your space, please contact Geneviève Leclerc as soon as possible at 450-297-0941 or by email at gleclerc@ineo.ca.

Theme Pavilions

Every year, the Fair features various sectors in full expansion through themes pavilions.  These pavilions gather together, under a same roof, the key players of the education and the labour market in their respective industries.  With the passing years, visitors discovered different fields, amongst those the Plastic Industry, the Construction, Science & Technologies, Multimedia, Public Notary, Accounting and Culture.

For this 11th edition, we are developing the entrepreneurship and the electronic game sectors, and the Carrefour des métiers de la FP will be back to promote the vocational training.  Your industry wants to stand out?  We can help you develop innovative and dynamic concepts.  Please, contact Geneviève Leclerc at 450-297-0941 or by email at gleclerc@ineo.ca.

And the winner is…

We are happy to inform you that the Translation Bureau is the winner of an advertising banner in the Visitor’s Guide.  This promotion was held by INEO who invited exhibitors to return their signed contract before March 31st, 2006 with a chance to win this valuable visibility.  Congratulations to the winner!

The Toronto Fair is almost there !

On April 19 & 20, the 8th edition of the National Job Fair & Training Expo (NJF) will be presented at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  More than 10,000 visitors are expected!  Benefit from our cross promotion and, as an exhibitor to Montreal and Toronto, get a 10 % rebate applicable on the location of your space in one or the other event.  The NJF next edition will take place September 27 & 28, 2006.  For more information, please contact Marie Archambault at 450-464-7638 or by email at marchambault@ineo.ca.
