Get ready to visit the Fair!

We have prepared specially designed tools to help your students think about their goals and interests and to help them follow up after their visit to the Fair.  You will find them on our web site in the section Get ready for your visit!

Conservatoire Lassalle : proud partner

For a third consecutive year, Conservatoire Lassalle is proud to sponsor the passes for the school visits. Come and meet Conservatoire Lassalle’s students at their booth No 213. They will inform you about their Communication, Cinema, Photography and Theatre Programs.

Info-Career Desk & Welcoming Zone

We are bringing back our first-line service, the Info-Career Desk, which allows visitors, as soon as they step in, to gather information on the 8 major following sectors:

*        Arts & culture, fashion & communication

*        Business, finance & computer science

*        Health, well-being & education (presented by Merck Frosst)

*        Transport, mechanics & construction

*        Telecommunications, electronics & machinery

*        Sciences, environment & agri-food

*        Tourism, sports & recreation

*        Employment & entrepreneurship

Each zone will offer information on featured sectors and visitors will be able to ask their questions to resource professionals, get information on activities and exhibitors related to their interests and explore their options.

Also, for a second year, upon arrival, Conservatoire Lassalle’s students will greet your pupils and offer them additional support for their visit.

Explore the job market

Explore the job market with your students using LMI Online

The Web has an excellent tool for explaining trades and professions to your students.

Developed by Emploi-Québec, LMI Online provides detailed information on Québec’s job market: trades, professions, training programs, sectors of activity, regional job prospects, employer requirements, hourly wages, and much more.

Check it out before visiting the Salon! It’s free and accessible from home or school.

Have your students consult the “Trades and occupations” section in LMI Online. They will find hundreds of occupations that may interest them and will learn which of them provide favourable job prospects in their region.
