Government of Québec Place

Government of Québec Place, located at the heart of the Fair, is the perfect site for finding out about education, labour market needs, careers in science and technology and health and social services, gender equality, student aid and a host of other topics.

The ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, Emploi-Québec, the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, the Commission des normes du travail, the Conseil du statut de la femme and the Secrétariat à la jeunesse will join forces to explore the theme Heading for Success, which is aimed at promoting trades requiring vocational training in secondary school or technical training at the college level.

The Heading for Success booth will have an interactive quiz for visitors about the labour market, trades and training. Many prizes will be awarded. It’s your essential and dynamic source of information. Be there!

Vocational Training Zone

A dynamic and interactive pavilion, presented by six school boards in the Metropolitan area in collaboration with the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.  Visitors will have the opportunity to observe more than 15 trades demonstrated by teachers and keen students and gather information on all the programs offered in Vocational and Adult Education!

Get ready to visit the Fair!

This section provides access to specially designed tools to help your students think about their goals and interests and to help them follow up after their visit to the Fair.

Before your visit, the questionnaires "What is your profile?" will help you determine, in a few minutes, which profile(s) between the 8 sectors represented in the Info-Career Desk suit the most your personality. Also, for each activity sector, you will find useful references to help you explore this field.

On site, we invite you to meet Guidance Counselors and Academic and Career Advisors.  Those professionals will guide you through the Fair accordingly with YOUR interests. This front-line service is there to help you get the most from your visit at the Fair.

To complement this initial preparation, we invite you to consult the Exhibitor's list posted on our web site and updated regularly. When clicking on them, most of the exhibitor's name will link you to their web site. Exhibitors are also listed by the 8 major activity sectors featured in the Info-Career Desk. By clicking on the different pictograms, you will create different lists of exhibitors regrouping by those sectors. This will facilitate your visit in accordance with your interests. With this list in hand and by consulting the floor plan, you can make your own itinerary of your visit at the Fair.

Finally, we invite you to visit the section Useful References regrouping organizations and web sites providing information in link with the Fair.

All those tools were created to help you prepare your visit and get the most of it.
